Gerry Anderson RIP

It was sad to read the news of Gerry Anderson's passing today. To many of us of a 'certain age' his TV shows defined our youth, in my case Stingray and Thunderbirds...

A few years back I bought a complete set of the Konami Thunderbirds models with the idea of creating an International Rescue type game. An idea to dust off in 2013 perhaps...

  1. Sad news indeed. I was a massive Thunderbirds fan as a child and even back then it wasn't so much the cliff-hanging storylines that had me mesmorised but the actual models that were created to bring his fictional world to life. The vehicles and terrain created for the series was seriously spectacular and way ahead of their time. Rest in peace Mr Anderson and thank you for your contribution to my childhood memories.
